Mentorship
We offer a structured mentorship program to new graduates in their first 12 months at Animal Medical Hospital & Urgent Care to mold confident, competent, well-rounded doctors proficient in general practice and/or urgent care medicine in line with our mission statement: to provide superior service and compassionate care to improve the lives of the pets we serve. We want to build new graduates’ confidence by providing the tools and training needed to practice high quality medicine, communicate effectively with clients and staff members, and most importantly provide the best care possible to our pet patients.
Externships
Our externship calendar fills quickly, and we strive to accommodate as many students as possible. Due to limited availability, however, we are not always able to accept every externship request.
Externship opportunities are scheduled based on availability and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage students to reach out early to increase the likelihood of securing their preferred dates.
