Our veterinary team consists of 16 veterinarians, including an ABVP (American Board of Veterinary Practitioners) specialist who is board-certified in canine and feline medicine, and 15 generalists. Our veterinarians have a broad range of experience and interests, which allows us to offer a full range of care for our patients. We also have board-certified radiologists who consult with our veterinarians.
Each team member provides professionalism, competence, friendliness, respect, and compassionate care. Our success relies on the dedication of our wonderful staff.
Client Service Associates
Our compassionate, friendly Client Service Associates are integral members of the Animal Medical Hospital & Urgent Care team. With a distinct knowledge of the practice’s mission and values, they provide a direct link between clients and veterinarians, regardless of whether they are checking in a pet for boarding, scheduling an appointment, or serving as the first point of contact in an emergency. Our Client Service Associates are continually trained on a weekly basis to better assist you and your pet during your visit.
Pet Groomers
Because proper cleanliness and hygiene is important for your pet’s health, our professional groomers are highly trained in their field. With over 20 years of combined experience grooming all breeds, they know that appropriate care and cleansing leads to happy, healthy pets. From shampooing and nail care to deluxe pampering, they are available to answer any questions you may have about your pet’s grooming needs.
Pet Counselors
Pet Counselors are a valuable addition to our practice. They maintain the boarding suites to ensure the comfort of our patients and guests. Additionally, they take care of the dogs and cats that visit with us. Our Pet Counselors receive continual training, on a weekly basis, to provide your pet with the best experience during his or her stay with us. Between walks and feedings, the compassionate counselors are on hand to play with and talk to our guests individually, at the request of our clients. They also keep a close watch, and immediately notify a veterinarian if a pet seems to be having a problem, putting our clients at ease when they are required to be away from their loved one for any length of time.
Veterinary Treatment Staff
The Veterinary Assistants and Registered Veterinary Technicians that comprise the technical team at Animal Medical Hospital & Urgent Care are essential members of our community. They comprise both our General Practice and Emergency and Advanced Care teams.
Our General Practice staff consists of exam room assistants who work closely with our veterinarians, as well as registered veterinary technicians, and surgical nurses who care for the patients that visit our hospital for surgical or dentistry services. Our Emergency and Advanced Care staff consists of veterinary assistants and registered technicians who work closely with our veterinarians to care for patients that present with an emergency as well as to care for our hospitalized and medical boarding patients. Our in-house Lab-Pharmacy Technicians offer crucial counsel on diagnostics and dispense any medications our doctors prescribe. Our treatment staff receives continual training and continuing education and adheres to AAHA standards of care for all our patients.
